Austraining International has managed over 300 bilateral and multilateral projects throughout the Asia Pacific and the Middle East. Austraining International's Head Office was established in 1991 and is located in Adelaide, South Australia. A fully owned subsidiary was established in Indonesia in 1993 and it operates from Jakarta. Our footprint into the Asia Pacific is further extended via 4 regional offices, located in Bangkok, Hanoi, Jakarta and Port Moresby. We also operate 19 branch offices throughout the region.

Volunteering
Austraining International, on behalf of AusAID, manages 2 of Australia's most significant and successful Volunteer programs. Australian Youth Ambassadors for Development (AYAD), places skilled young Australians between the ages of 18-30 years into regional countries for assignments of up to 12 months in duration. The Volunteering for International Development from Australia (VIDA) program, places highly skilled volunteers for assignments of up to 36 months duration. Both programs contribute significantly to the Australian Government's goal of assisting developing countries reduce poverty and achieve sustainable development, in line with Australia's national interest.
Education
With strong links to leading educational institutions, Austraining International can boast expertise in all key areas of education improvement from policy, systematic reform, schools management, teacher training, curriculum development and monitoring and evaluation. Austraining International also manages the Endeavour Awards in partnership with The Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR). The Endeavour Awards is an internationally competitive, merit-based scholarship program.
Governance
Our expertise lies in the complex governance issues that arise in delivering effective government services, particularly in developing countries. Austraining assists client governments to improve governance controls at the interface of the public, private and community sectors.
